Indian Register of Shipping (IRClass), leading classification society, hosted a customer meeting at Taj Palace Hotel, Mumbai, as part of its efforts to increase its commitment to the Asian Region.

The meet was well-attended by ship owners, shipyards, managers and other maritime stakeholders. At the meeting, IRClass launched its Corporate Video and gave a presentation on its recent developments and new services like Cyber Risk Management, Sulphur Cap2020, Ballast Water Management and IR-Optitrim.

Mr. Arun Sharma – Executive Chairman of IRClass said: Taking over as Chairman of IACS will be a significant milestone for IRClass and the Indian maritime sector. IRClass intends to work more closely with all stakeholders in the maritime industry. Aims to work with the industry for compliance solutions to the new regulatory challenges.

The customer meet was highly appreciated by the audience. The event saw engaging andinteractive Q&A session towards the end of the presentation.
