IRClass is authorized by 52 Flag States as Recognized Organization to carry out statutory survey and certification based on IMO’s SOLAS convention and each flag state’s specific requirements. The SOLAS convention specifies the safety requirements onboard vessels on international voyages towards construction, stability, machinery, electrical installations, fire safety, life-saving appliances, navigation, communications and carriage of cargoes. These safety regulations need to be incorporated on ships right from the design stage and are required to be maintained throughout the service life of the ship.

We are a competent and reliable recognized organization and a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS). Upon satisfactory completion of the surveys onboard, following certificates may be issued to the vessel in accordance with the SOLAS Convention, as amended, to vessels:

• Cargo Ship Safety Construction Certificate

• Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate

• Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate

• Passenger Ship Safety Certificate

• Cargo Ship Safety Certificate

• Safety Certificate for High Speed Craft

• Carriage of Liquefied Gases in Bulk 

• Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (GC Code)

• International Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (IGC Code)

• Carriage in Bulk of Dangerous Chemicals

• Certificate of Fitness for Chemicals in Bulk (BCH Code)

• International Certificate of Fitness for Chemicals in Bulk (IBC Code)

• Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (EGC Code)
