About the course

Under the energy-efficiency regulations initiated by IMO, existing ships are required to have an energy efficiency management plan in place.

Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) has come into force in January 2013. Consequently, all operators have documentation in place to demonstrate their compliance. The course aims to take an integrated view of various operational factors that contribute to energy efficiency.

Case studies and exercises help the participants to not only appreciate the concepts and principles involved, but also apply them to their on-job situations.

Participants

Members of senior, middle and junior level technical management teams from shipping companies; seafarers at the operational and management levels.
