The 10^th batch of training of Indian Coast Guard personnel – 14-25 October 2024

The 10th batch of training of Coast Guard personnel was conducted from 14 to 25 October 2024.

The training on Inspection, Supervision, and Quality Control of ICG Ship Construction Activities was delivered to Indian Coast Guard Personnel by various Subject Matter Experts of IRCLASS Academy.

Inspector General H P Singh, Deputy Director (Tech) was the Chief Guest during the Valedictory function on 25 October 2024. In his valedictory speech, he emphasized the requirement of training the Coast Guard personnel, keeping in view the large-scale expansion program for the Coast Guard fleet. He also showed interest in obtaining IRS services in Govt “Make in India” Program. Shri P K Mishra, the Managing Director of the IRS advocated more engagement between the IRS and the Indian Coast Guard and offered collaborative research between the two organisations.

Senior Coast Guard Officers from the Regional Headquarters (West) also contributed to the training. DIG Sudhir Sahni, Chief Staff Officer (Tech) delivered his lecture on an important and pertinent topic on Weight Management Audit onboard Coast Guard Ships, as part of the experience-sharing session on 24 October 2024.

The 9^th batch of training of Coast Guard personnel – 19-30 June 2023

The 9th batch of training of Coast Guard personnel was conducted from 19 to 30 June 2023.

Training on Inspection, Supervision, Quality Control of ICG Ship Construction Activities was delivered to Indian Coast Guard Personnel by various Subject Matter Experts of IRCLASS Academy.

Senior Coast Guard Officers from Regional Head Quarter (West) also contributed to the training during Valedictory function through experience sharing session.

DIG Sudhir Sahni, Chief Staff Officer (Tech) and DIG Kailash Negi, Chief of Staff, attended the Valedictory function.

The eight batch of training of Coast Guard personnel was concluded from 13 – 24th Feb 2023.

Indian Coast Guard Training, Nov 2022

Two batches of in-person courses for ICG were conducted from 7th to 18th February and 31st October to 11th November 2022 at the IRClass Head Office at Mumbai.
